At Krenare Rugova, we are committed to creating fashion in a responsible and sustainable way. One of the ways we do this is through our use of hand loomed materials, which are produced in our in-house lab using zero-waste production methods.
Our lab is powered by natural light, and we use no electricity or water in the production of our materials and is dedicated to the ancient technique of handweaving, that is a traditional method of textile production which is passed down for generations. We use only locally sourced and sustainably produced threads to create our unique, high-quality materials.
Once our materials are produced, we use them to create garments that are not only beautiful but also environmentally friendly. We take great care to ensure that every step of our production process is as sustainable as possible, from sourcing materials to the final product.
Our garments are made from scratch in-house, meaning we only purchase the thread and work with that until it arrives to the client. This approach allows us to have full control over the quality and sustainability of our garments, and it guarantees that the client will receive a product that is truly one-of-a-kind.
